Create a Status Field Set and add it to a Content Wizard

Navigate to

- To create a new
Status Field Set, click
New Status Field Set in the
New pane on the right.
Enter a name for the new Status Field Set and click OK.
The new object appears in Field Sets.
The name of the Status Field Set cannot contain any of the following characters:
: ? / < > * " | \ ( ) .
- To create a new
Status Field Set, click
New Status Field Set in the
New pane on the right.

Click the needed
Status Field Set and then click
Edit in the
View and Edit pane on the right.
The Field Set Editor appears.

To add a
Field to the
Status Field Set, click the plus icon.
Unlike regular Fields, Fields of a Status Field Set have no default value and format.
- Enter a name and a description for the Field. When you finish adding the Field, click the save icon to the right of the Description field. When you finish creating the Status Field Set, click Save & Close.
- Now you need to add the Status Field Set to the Data Backbone. For more information, see the section "Add a Field Set to the Data Backbone" in the Kofax Communications Manager Repository User's Guide.
- To add the Status Field Set to a Content Wizard, navigate to .

Click the needed document and then click
Edit in the
View and Edit pane on the right.
The Content Wizard Editor opens.
- Double-click the Section or the Text Block to edit.
- In the appeared window, select the Advanced tab.
- From the drop-down list, select the Status Field. Select unique Status Fields for each object.

Click
OK. Close the
Content Wizard Editor and save the changes when prompted to do so.
Now the information on the interactive choice will automatically be stored in a resulting Data Backbone XML when composing the document or Document Pack.
