Capture
The following are the enhancements to Capture.
PDF and Separation profiles: Maintenance access
You can specify maintenance access for individual PDF and Separation profiles in TotalAgility Designer so that only users with appropriate privileges can edit them.
Document conversion profile: Extract email body with header
You can extract the email body with the header in the "Document conversion" profile using the new Body with message header option.
API to add PDF bookmarks
The new CaptureDocumentService API allows adding bookmarks to PDF source files and TotalAgility generated PDFs.
Error-handling options if document fails to export
TotalAgility can handle document export errors. See "Error handling property" in Configure an Export activity in the TotalAgility Designer Help.
New system properties for folders
In previous releases, the "Has unclassified document" and "Has unconfidently classified document" folder system properties were used to check if the folder contained unclassified or unconfidently classified documents. However, this check was limited to the direct child documents for the given subfolder.
In TotalAgility 8.0.0, the following additional folder system properties are added that indicate if the folder and any of its subfolders have unclassified or unconfidently classified documents:
-
Hierarchy has unclassified document
-
Hierarchy has unconfidently classified document
Updates to eVRS documentation
In the eVRS command string modules topic in the TotalAgility Designer Help, the DO_SCALE_IMAGE_TO_DPI keyword is updated to include how _DoEnhancedBinarization_ affects _DoScaleImageToDPI_n.
Panel headers removed in a Capture form
The existing panel headers for each panel in Capture forms are removed to provide more workable screen space. This includes the removal of the Navigator, Fields, Current Error, and Thumbnails panel headers.
Further, the current layout configuration button in each panel header is consolidated into a single button in the toolbar.
Panels affected by the layout customization are now highlighted.
