Change page view size

Use tools on the View bar or select tools on the View tab of the ribbon to resize the page view.

Actual size

  1. Select 100% in the View bar percentage control, or press ⌘Command+1.

Defined Size

  1. Select a percentage value in the View bar percentage control.

Fit page

To fit the view with the whole page, do the following:

Click the arrow of the percentage tool on the View bar, then select Fit Page.

This ensures all page content is visible without scrolling. It also displays one page at a time. With this option, pages are resized independently, so if you move to a different-sized page, the magnification will change automatically.

Fit width

Proceed with any of the following steps to fit the view with the width of the page:

Click the arrow of the percentage tool on the View bar, then select Fit Width.

This fits pages to the width of the document window with a different scrolling option.

Fit visible

Click the arrow of the percentage tool on the View bar, then select Fit Visible.

This is the same as Fit Width except that it shows not the page width but the width of the visible content, so it excludes most of the vertical margin areas.

Fit height
