Automate deployments

To automate deployments of DAS, use a configuration file. For set up and configuration of the DAS, refer to the Tungsten RPA Desktop Automation Service Guide. See also Desktop Automation Service.

Create a configuration

To create a configuration for automated deployment of DAS:

  1. From the Desktop Automation Service shortcut menu, select the Configure option to configure the remote management of the DAS.

    The Desktop Automation Service configuration dialog box appears. See Manage Desktop Automation Service.

  2. As needed, configure additional parameters to provide network security and other features.

  3. Configure the DAS management, then select Save.

    The configuration is stored in the server.conf file, located in the following folder:

    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Tungsten RPA\2026.1

  4. Restart the DAS.

Deploy automatically using server.conf

Use the server.conf file to automatically deploy additional instances of DAS.

  1. Open the server.conf file.

    The file is in the following folder:

    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Tungsten RPA\2026.1

  2. Copy the file to the new machine where you want to configure the DAS.

  3. Update the hostname property to match the machine for the deployment.

  4. As needed, configure additional parameters to provide network security and other features.

  5. Save the file.

  6. Start the DAS.
