Import settings

When you first open Design Studio after upgrading Tungsten RPA to any minor or major release, the Import settings from previous version window appears.

This feature is available for Tungsten RPA versions newer than 2025.2.

Select which settings you want to import or click Continue without importing.

The following settings are available for import.

Setting	Description
Design Studio Settings	Imports preferences set for Design Studio. Importing Design Studio settings resets the Management Console settings to their default values. See also Design Studio settings.
Open Projects and Robots	Imports all open local projects and robots. See also Projects.
Window Layout	Imports all layouts saved in a previous Design Studio version. You can only import Window Layout from Tungsten RPA 2026.1 and newer. See also Window layouts.
Log4j Properties	Imports Log4j properties specified in the log4j2.properties file. See also Logging.
