Labels

The Labels page is where you view robots with assigned trigger-label mappings, add mappings, and remove mappings. Assign mappings only to robots with triggers.

The label must match the label given on the Desktop Automation Service. (Configure labels in the Desktop Automation Service Configuration, using the Management Console tab.)

For information about trigger-label mappings, see:

Add trigger-label mapping

When you add a trigger-label mapping, it applies to the Desktop Automation Service where the user is logged in. The robot runs if the trigger is fired on the remote device where the label is mapped. If you want the robot to run on other remote devices, you must add the trigger-label mapping to the other Desktop Automation Services.

For details about the data components of a mapping, see View trigger mappings.

  1. From the Management Console > Repository > Trigger mappings page, select the Labels tab.

  2. On the Labels page, click the plus sign.

The Add trigger-label mapping dialog box appears.

  3. Select the robots to map.

Map only robots with triggers. As you select robots, they appear in the Selected robots list.

Robots must have triggers enabled. If you select a robot that has no triggers enabled, an error message appears.

  4. In the Labels box, type a label name, then click the plus sign to Add label.

As you add labels, they appear in the list of Labels.

  5. To remove a label from the Saved info list, select the X Remove selection icon next to the label name.

  6. Select the project from the Projects list.

  7. To customize the view, see View trigger mappings.

  8. Select OK.

The new mapping is added to the table. If you selected multiple robots, multiple new mappings are added.

If you created a duplicate label mapping, an error message appears and the mapping is automatically removed.

Edit trigger-label mapping

  1. From the Management Console > Repository > Trigger mappings page, select the Labels tab.

Remove trigger-label mapping

Removing a mapping permanently deletes the trigger mapping. Any robots using the mapping will not run on the corresponding Desktop Automation Service.

  1. From the Management Console > Repository > Trigger mappings page, select the Labels tab.

  2. Select the mapping in the table.

  3. Select the bin icon .

The trigger-label mapping is removed from the Management Console.
