Find files

Search all projects, a project, or a folder in the My Projects pane to quickly find any file.

This option works at top and lower-levels within the My Projects pane. Depending on where you right-click, the menu option that appears changes to one of the following, which offer higher to lower-level searches and results:

• Find in projects (from the File menu and from top-level folders)

• Find in project (from a project folder)

• Find in folder (from a folder within a project)

To find a file in the My Projects pane:

1. Right-click a folder in the My Projects pane.

2. Select the find option from the menu.

   A dialog box appears for entering your search criteria.

3. Type a name, letters, and other entries to search for files that match.

   Case is insensitive.

   • As you type, all files with matching entries and wildcards populate in a list under the name box.

   • Use the Arrow keys or the slider to move up or down in the list of matching files.

   • Keep typing entries until the file appears.

4. Select the file you want from the list.

   The file activates in the My Projects pane and displays in the main Design Studio window.
