Users

The Users page is where you view robots with assigned trigger-user mapping, add mappings, and remove mappings. Assign trigger-user mappings only to robots with triggers.

A mapping connects a robot with a trigger to the Desktop Automation Service where the user is logged in. The robot runs if the trigger is fired on that Desktop Automation Service.

For information about trigger-user mappings, see:

Add trigger-user mapping

For details about the data components of a mapping, see View trigger mappings.

  1. From the Management Console > Repository > Trigger mappings page, select the Users tab.

  2. On the Users page, click the plus sign.

The Add trigger-user mappingdialog box appears.

  3. On the Robots tab:

    1. Select the robots to map.

Map only robots with triggers. As you select robots, they appear in the Selected robots list.

Robots must have triggers enabled. If you select a robot that has no triggers enabled, an error message appears.

    2. From Projects, select the projects to map.

  4. On the Users tab, select the users to map.

As you select users, they appear in the list of Selected users.

  5. To customize the view, see View trigger mappings.

  6. Select OK.

The new mapping is added to the table. If you selected multiple robots, multiple new mappings are added.

If you created a duplicate user mapping, an error message appears and the mapping is automatically removed.
