With the Barcode feature, you can capture barcode information as indexing data. Open the document in the view port, and once the document is loaded, the bar code value is read.

Navigate to the AutoCapture form field that needs to be populated with the barcode value and then from the viewport select and click the highlighted barcode value. A simple click with the left mouse button will transfer the barcode value to the desired AutoCapture form field.

When you open a file that has one or more bar codes embedded in the document you can perform a number of operations by clicking the respective button on the Barcode toolbar.
