Split PDF
In Power PDF, splitting means either specifying which page ranges to save or splitting the document into equal parts. Use the Split PDF tool for both.
-
On the Pages toolbar, select Split
PDF (
).
The Split PDF dialog box appears.
-
To specify one or more custom ranges to save from the document, do the
following::
- Select the Custom Range tab (default).
- In the first range section, specify the first and last pages of the range in the From page and To boxes.
- For specifying more ranges, select Add Range, then repeat the above step with the new section.
- Select Split pages and merge them into one PDF to download a single PDF document containing all ranges. Otherwise, the download will be a .zip file with one PDF per range.
-
To split up the whole document at an interval, do the following:
- Select the Fixed Range tab.
-
In the Split page range box, specify the
interval. Verify the summary below the box.
Example: If the document has 8 pages, and you specify 2 as an interval, then Power PDF splits every 2 pages into a PDF file, resulting in a .zip file with 4 PDF files altogether.
-
Select OK.
It may take time for Power PDF to prepare and download the requested pages. Follow the instructions on the screen.
