Export to Word or Excel and recreate a modified PDF
You can export an entire PDF document to an editable format, modify the document in the target application and create a new PDF. Converting Office formats requires Microsoft Office installed.
- Go to the File menu and select Save As.
- In the Save As dialog box, select the target location.
- In the Save dialog box, select the target file type (see below).

Enter a file name and location.
When converting to editable file types, a progress monitor appears.
The file appears in the target application.
- Save the file under a different name, then make the desired changes in the target application.
- Open the edited document in Power PDF again, then save it in PDF format.

Target file type: The program offers a range of editable file types (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx, . txt) and image file types (.tif, .jpeg, .png and more). It also offers PDF and PDF/A.

Save a page selection for editing: Make a copy of the original PDF, open the Pages panel and delete unneeded pages from the copy and save the file as the desired file type.
