Look for files with two-sided names (ReadSoft Collector only)
Look for files with two-sided names makes Interpret check attachment file names to see if they are two-sided. Kofax ReadSoft Collector's file-naming convention specifies that the last three characters in a file name are a sequence number.
- If this number is even, the file contains a front page.
- If Interpret finds a file with the same name but with an odd sequence number (the sequence no. of the front page + 1), it is assumed to be a back page.
- If Interpret finds a file with an odd sequence number but with no corresponding front page, it is returned as a front page, despite the odd sequence number.
- If this option is not selected, all pages are interpreted as front pages, regardless of sequence numbers.
What ReadSoft Collector does is check the sequence numbers for the first two attachments found:
- If they fulfill the front/back page criteria, they are interpreted accordingly.
- If they do not fulfill the front/back page criteria, ReadSoft Collector takes the first one as a separate attachment and then checks the next two attachments (if there are any) for the front/back-page criteria, and so on.
Since
ReadSoft Collector
does not treat back pages different to front pages in multi-page invoices, this option should only be selected together
with the
Treat each
email attachment as a separate invoice option.
