Save log information in Windows Event Log

  1. Open ReadSoft Collector General settings dialog box.
  2. Click the Logging tab.
  3. Click .
  4. Select Event log in the Log type list.
  5. Type a description that tells you what it is used for. This will be visible and selectable on the Logging tab of the ReadSoft Collector General settings dialog box.
  6. Select the desired level of content in the Level list. The higher the number selected, the more information that is provided and the larger the log file is.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Finish.

    To view Windows Event Log in the Windows Event Viewer, select Start > Windows System > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.
