Specify where to save images or attachments

You can select the location where you want to save the email attachments while configuring the Interpret job to process email or XML invoices.

  1. Open General settings dialog box. For more information, see Open ReadSoft Collector General settings dialog box.
  2. Click the Folders tab.
  3. Specify the location of the folder where you want the attachments to be saved.

    To simplify maintenance and to reduce the number of sub-folders under a single folder, a separate sub-folder is created under the folder specified above for the emails processed in a day by ReadSoft Collector (using the format \YYYY-MM-DD\). Also, attachments are put into a separate sub-folder for each mail that is processed.

    Example

    If the path specified in the dialog box is "\\servername\COLLECTOR processed image files" and an email is processed using ReadSoft Collector on September 1, 2009, the attachments can be saved in the following location:

    \\servername\COLLECTOR processed image files\2009-09-01\sendernamereceivedateguid
