Use this window to activate or change a license for the Project Builder.

The Current License pane shows the license information of the current license. To activate a new license, attach a hardware key or activate a software license.

The New License pane enables you to enter the name and company for the new license, and shows the activation dates for the serial number.

The following settings are available:

Name

The name of the licensee needs to be entered for a new license activation. This field is required.

Company

The name of the licensee company needs to be entered for a new license activation. This field is required.

Expires

The expiration date of the serial number is displayed here. For permanent licenses, <never> is displayed.

Serial number

The number of the hardware key or software license. During the demonstration period and after the license activation, it is unnecessary to attach a hardware key to the computer to run Project Builder. For Server processing, either a valid hardware key attached locally or on the network, or a valid and activated software license is needed.

Type of License

There is no text label displayed for this field, but the license type (Demo, Evaluation, or Permanent) is displayed to the right of the expiration date.

License Status

There is no text label displayed for this field, but a license status of Valid, Invalid, or Expired is displayed to the right of the serial number.

The following buttons are available at the bottom of this window:

Button	Description
Read Serial Number	Click this button to show the license features for the serial number. If you are using a Tungsten Capture client server installation, the hardware key need not be attached at the local computer, but may be installed at the central site instead. Click this button to show the license features for this serial number. The serial number can either represent a hardware key, but can also be a software license. If you do not use a hardware key attached to a local computer, be sure to configure the hardware key or software license within the Tungsten Automation License Utility before you click Read Serial Number or Activate License.
Activate License	Click this button to activate your licenses. For a new license activation, you need to type the company and licensee names.
OK	Closes the window and saves your changes.
Cancel	Closes the window without saving your changes.
Help	Displays the help for the open window.
