Add a Remote Fuzzy Database
To set up a Remote Fuzzy Database you need to have access to the Tungsten Search and Matching Server. The database you want to connect to must be configured and set to activated prior to this setup.
You can add a Remote Fuzzy Database by following these steps:

On the
Project tab, in the
Configuration group, select
Project Settings
.
- Click the Databases tab to view the databases settings.
- Click Add. The Add New Database window is displayed.
- In the Database Name field, type a descriptive name for the new fuzzy database.
- On the Database Type list, select the Remote Fuzzy Database type.
- Click OK. The Properties of Remote Fuzzy Database window is displayed.

On the
Properties of Remote Fuzzy Database window, set the following:

On the
Host name list, select the
Tungsten Search and Matching Server
where the desired database is located.
Alternatively, you can search for all available servers within your local network by clicking the search button.
- Optionally, set the Port number.
- Select the Database name.

Click
OK.
The Properties of Remote Fuzzy Database window closes.

On the
Host name list, select the
Tungsten Search and Matching Server
where the desired database is located.

Click
OK to save the Local Fuzzy Database.
The new database is displayed in the list of databases.
- Optionally, click OK to close the Project Settings window.
- Save the changes to your project.
