The Dictionaries tab is used to manage the dictionaries in a project.

The dictionaries are listed by their names and the location of the dictionary file. During the installation of Tungsten Transformation, a set of sample dictionaries is installed to the Project Builder application directory (..\Dict).

Use the following buttons to manage the dictionaries in your project:

Button	Description
Add	Adds a new dictionary. When prompted, enter a name for the dictionary and click OK to open the Dictionary Options window.
Delete	Deletes the currently selected dictionary from the project.
Rename	Changes the name of the currently selected dictionary. If you rename a dictionary you must re-import that dictionary in order for the name change to take effect in any linked items, such as locators.
Properties	Modifies the selected dictionary.
Import	Updates the currently selected dictionary with data from the source import file.

The following buttons are available at the bottom of this window:

Button	Description
OK	Closes the window and saves your changes.
Cancel	Closes the window without saving your changes.
Help	Displays the help for the open window.
