Functions

In a rule editor, functions are predefined or custom rules that accept one or more inputs, execute a specific operation or calculation, and produce an output. Each function is used to evaluate conditions, transform data, or carry out logical or mathematical operations.

TotalAgility provides the following predefined functions grouped under the following categories:

You can filter the available functions by typing the function name in the Filter box. The matching functions are displayed along with their respective groups.

You can view the functions in either of the following ways:

Show alphabetically alphabeticalview

Displays all available functions in a single A to Z list. This view is useful if you know the exact function name and want to locate it quickly without navigating through functional categories.

Show grouped

Displays functions organized into categories, (for example, Text and Date) in expandable sections. This view is useful when you know the type of operation you need but not the exact function name.
