Manage custom pages

You can modify, delete, and download a custom page.

Modify a custom page

When editing a custom page, you can only change its category and description. A custom page displayed at runtime is downloaded from the database and cached. If a custom page is updated in the TotalAgility Advanced Studio, the latest version is not displayed until the cache is refreshed. Therefore, make sure that you refresh the cache to get the latest version of a custom page.

You can define how often the custom pages should be refreshed by specifying the "Custom page refresh duration" in the System settings. The default custom page refresh duration is set to 120 minutes. We recommend that you set the interval considering the likelihood of custom pages being updated. In a production environment, you can set this interval to a larger value as updates are less likely.

  1. Navigate to User interface > Custom pages.
  2. Select the custom page to modify.
  3. Make changes to the category and description, as needed.
  4. To replace the custom page, browse to the custom page and select the page you need.

    You must upload the same file name again.

  5. Select Save.

Download a custom page

You can download a custom page.

  1. Navigate to User interface > Custom pages.
  2. On the context menu of the custom page to download, select Download.

    The selected custom page is downloaded.

Delete a custom page

  1. Navigate to User interface > Custom pages.
  2. On the context menu of the custom page to delete, select Delete.

    On confirmation, the selected custom page is deleted.
