Recognition engines are responsible for performing optical character recognition (OCR) on documents for classification and extraction purposes.

The Tungsten Clarity recognition engine.
A license for Tungsten Clarity is required for testing in the Project Builder and in production.
Customizing the Tungsten Transformation Toolkit installation enables installing the following recognition engine that is licensed separately.

FormXtra recognition engine by Parascript.
A license for FormXtra is not required when testing in the Project Builder but a license is needed when a project is in production.
