If you have a form with a consistent layout and it contains fewer than 10 pieces of data that you want to extract, manually configure the zones.

However, if there are greater than ten pieces of information on your form, it may be more efficient to use automatic zone recognition with the Zone Wizard.

You can perform manual zone recognition as follows:

• Add a zone

• Rename a zone

• Delete a zone

• Move zones

• Resize a zone

The newly created zones are available for editing in the Document Viewer (zone mode) window or on the Zones tab after closing the Zone Wizard window. You can do any of the following:

• Modify a zone

• Select one or more zones.

• Move one or more zones

• Map a zone to an anchor

• Apply a group to several zones

• Change the recognition profile used for a zone

• Add one or more image cleanup profiles to a zone
