Assign a field to a locator

A field needs to be associated with a locator in order to get extraction results for the located data on the document. You can assign a field to a locator by following these steps:

  1. Expand the Project Tree and select the class that contains the field to be assigned to a locator.
  2. Optionally, view the class contents if they are not already displayed.

    The hidden class contents are displayed.

  3. Select the field in the Project Tree.

    The Field properties are displayed in the Details window.

  4. Select a value for the Locator from the list of available locators.

    The results from the selected locator populate the field during runtime.

  5. Optionally, configure the other field settings.
