Enable paragraph detection

In order to detect paragraphs for use in the Classification Locator or by script, it is necessary to enable paragraph detection.

You can enable paragraph detection for your project by following these steps:

  1. On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings Project Settings icon.
  2. Select the Recognition tab to view the recognition settings.
  3. On the right-hand side, click Paragraph Detection.

    The Paragraph Detection Settings window is displayed.

  4. On the Paragraph Detection Settings window, do the following.
    1. Click Execute paragraph detection during recognition.

      The Advanced Settings are now available for editing.

    2. Adjust the Vertical spacing as needed.
    3. Adjust the Horizontal spacing as needed.
    4. Adjust the Indentation as needed.
  5. Click OK to save your settings.

    Your changes are saved and the Paragraph Detection Settings window closes.

  6. Optionally, click Close to close the Project Settings window.
