Modify a validation rule
Once a validation rule is added to a field, you may need to make changes over time. As a result, you can modify a
validation rule
by following
these steps:
- Open the Project Tree window if it is not already open.
- Open the Details window if it is not already open.

Expand the
Project Tree and select the validation rule to modify.
The validation rule properties are displayed in the Details window.

Modify the validation rule as necessary.
Each change is saved automatically. Once you save the project, all fields using this validation method are updated with the modified properties.
