Home tab
The Home tab has the following sections:
Clipboard
Cut (Ctrl+X) | Cuts the selected item on the image. Cells cannot be cut, only pasted. |
Paste (Ctrl+V) | Pastes the zone that was cut/copied on the image. Zone Cut & Paste can be used for changing zone order as well. |
Copy (Ctrl+C) | Copies the zone on the image. It works with cells, zones, templates, multi-page templates and between two different libraries. |
Page tools
Auto process page | Form Template Editor offers an easy way to auto-detect form fields on a page. |
Dropout color picker | Drop out the pre-print background color for improved data processing |
Zone tools
Select | Press Space to change between Select tool and the previously used tool; alternatively, press 1. |
Text anchor | Press 2 repeatedly to circulate among the four types of text anchor drawing options. For more information, see Define text anchor zones. |
Barcode anchor | Press 3 repeatedly to circulate among the four types of barcode anchor drawing options. For more information, see Define barcode anchor zones. |
Fill text | Press 4 to create a fill text zone. For more information, see Define fill text zones. |
Barcode | Press 5 to create a fillable barcode zone. For more information, see Define fillable barcode zones. |
Checkbox | Press 6 to create a checkbox zone. For more information, see Define check box zones. |
Graphic | Press 7 to create a graphic zone. For more information, see Define graphic zones. |
Comb | Press 8 to create a comb zone. For more information, see Define comb zones. |
Table | Press 9 to create a table zone. For more information, see Define table zones. |
Auto process area | Press 0 to select a zone for auto-processing. For more information, see Define zones automatically (auto process area). |

Create | Creates a reference between one or more fillable field zones and one or more reference anchors. |
Left | Creates a reference between the left side of an already referenced fill zone and a reference anchor. |
Top | Creates a reference between the top of an already referenced fill zone and a reference anchor. |
Right | Creates a reference between the right side of an already referenced fill zone and a reference anchor. |
Bottom | Creates a reference between the bottom of an already referenced fill zone and a reference anchor. |
Remove | Removes reference from between two or more zones. |
Show
Drifts | Shows or hides the drift area of the anchor zones on the page image. |
Reference lines | Shows or hides reference line between reference anchors and referenced fields. |
Zone names | Shows or hides anchor zone text. |
Check
Check template | Checks the template for inconsistencies and other problems. |
