Introduction

The Tungsten OmniPage Capture Software Development Kit (CSDK) provides you with image management and recognition technologies for building custom applications for Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Mac. Building Mac or Linux applications requires the appropriate CSDK version designed for the target OS. CSDK for Windows is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit editions, capable of building 32-bit and 64-bit applications, respectively.

Overview

This help system gives you an overview of the program. The online help for RecAPI, IPROPlus, Objects, and Toolboxes presents comprehensive, detailed information on areas of interest. The NCLS Central Licensing tool is replaced by OPLA (OmniPage License Agent).

Evaluation Kits are supplied with a time-limited development license. Test distribution licenses are also time-limited.

The distribution licensing method to be used does not need to be decided until the application is ready for release.

From CSDK 18, RecIpro access is deprecated, and is only available for downward compatibility purposes, without full coverage of the new properties, methods, and events. IDL access is recommended and preferred.
