Restrictions and limitations

  • The component supports sending documents into Livelink ECM 9.2, Livelink ECM 9.7.1, and Content Server 10 servers.
  • You cannot create categories with this component; a category has to be created using the OpenText Livelink/CS application configuration first.
  • You cannot create fields with this component. Fields have to be created using the Livelink/CS application configuration first.
  • You cannot create workflow maps with this component. Workflow maps should be configured on the Livelink/CS server first.
  • If there are several attributes with the same display name on the server, you can set a value for only one of those attributes. Assigning values to other attributes with the same display name is not allowed.
  • You should not use the '|' symbol in the attribute value as this symbol is interpreted as the multivalue separator by the component.
  • The component does not allow instantiating the same workflow map more than once for one document.
  • The component allows browsing existing projects on the server, but you cannot create a project with this component.
