Decrypt a file store

This procedure provides the basic steps for decrypting to file store.

  1. On the Output Manager Console, click Administration > Set General Preferences.
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. If there is more than one file store, select the one you want to decrypt. Click Decrypt.
  4. When the warning message appears, click Yes. The file store decryption status changes to Pending decryption.

Note: A file store might stay in a pending state if the Output Manager system or file store is busy. For additional information, refer to the logs in the Message Console.

  1. Click Apply, then click Refresh to update the screen.
The file store encryption status changes to Not Encrypted.
