Folder separation is the process of creating new folders at scan time. This separation can be done either automatically, with separator sheets, or manually. Each time a new folder is automatically created, it is placed in the root folder.

There are three methods of folder separation:

• Bar code separation

• Patch code separation

• Manual separation

Configure these options in the of the Scan Settings window.
