Deleting documents

You can delete one or multiple documents. To delete multiple documents using the Navigator Panel, first select all the documents you want to delete (using the standard Windows multi-select key combinations click+CTRL or click+SHIFT ), then you can either:

  • Right-click on any of the selected documents to display a context-menu and select the delete menu item

  • Click the Delete Document toolbar button

  • Press the DELETE key

As a result, all the selected documents will be removed. This is a batch editing operation which triggers document and structure validation rules. The system only allows you to use operations for which you have the necessary permissions.

In the Multi-Document Thumbnail Viewer, you can delete one or multiple documents.

  1. In the Navigator Panel, select the document or documents to delete.
  2. Use one of the options presented above to delete the selected documents.
