Configure Equitrac USB Card Reader plugin

This plugin comes already pre-configured. However, in case you encounter issues regarding USB card handling, you can configure the plugin to provide trace information that may help identify the issue in Equitrac DWS Server web administration page.

To configure the plugin, do the following:

  1. Log into the device's web administration page using administrator credentials.
  2. In the Properties tab go to Security > Plug-in Settings > List of Embedded Plug-ins and select the EquitracPlugin radio button.
  3. Click the Set button above the plugin list. This opens a new window where you can specify logging settings.
    1. Set the LOG_LEVEL to TRACE.
    2. Specify a URL for the log file in the LOG_URL field following this structure: https://<DWS-IP>:8443/DwsMain/fxpluginlog, where <DWS-IP> is the IP address of a machine where FX ECSP is installed.
    3. Click Submit.
