Vendors

Vendors are individuals or companies that supply an enterprise.

Supplier users need to be assigned to a vendor, in which case they inherit the authorizations and restrictions of the vendor they are assigned to. This assignment is performed by an administrative user. For more information, see Assign an additional vendor.

Supplier users can also request to be connected to an additional vendor account, in which case a corresponding workflow is triggered and sent to an administrative user for approval. For details about how to configure this workflow, see Configure the vendor association process.
