Rename field labels

The field labels in the portal are displayed in the language that is set for the user. You can apply different field labels in any of the available languages.

To rename field labels, complete the following steps.

  1. In the Worklist, select Configuration > Fields configuration > Names.
  2. Select the field label type that you want to rename.
    • To rename the labels of headers and tables in the document detail view, select the corresponding business document type; for example Invoices. Then, select Header or Tables respectively.

    • To rename the labels of Worklist categories and their subcategories, select Worklist nodes names.

  3. In the document overview list, select the field code that you want to modify. If you want to rename field labels of business documents, you can do so on the following levels.
    • To rename the field label in the document detail view, select the entry without a suffix, for example: VENDOR.

    • To rename the field label in the document overview list, select the entry with the _H suffix, for example: VENDOR_H.

    • To modify the content of the field's tool tip, select the entry with the _TT suffix, for example: VENDOR_TT.

    To narrow down the number of displayed fields, you can use the Search button and enter the field code. If you do not know the exact code, use * as the wildcard character.
  4. In the Value box, click to enter the new label.
    Example To rename Rejection Reason in the invoice header to Reason for rejection, select the REJ_REASON_ID entry. Then, in the REJ_REASON_ID pane, in the Value text box for the English language, click to enter Reason for rejection as the new label of the field.
  5. Click Save.
