Robot Editor
Use the Robot Editor to edit robots. When you open a robot, it appears in a new Robot Editor placed on a new tab.
- Editor for Robots
- Contains a workflow of steps as well as variables, expressions, and tree mode settings. Buttons on the toolbar below the menu help you navigate through the steps of the workflow. You can go forward in the workflow using the Start Execution, Step Into, Step Over, and Step Out buttons; you can also pause or reset the execution of the robot. For more information, see Edit Robot.

The Robot Editor has two modes: design (default mode) and debug. Select a mode by clicking a mode button in the left corner of the Robot Editor. Depending on which mode you select, the appearance and availability of options may vary.
For Basic Engine Robots, each view consists of several subviews. For design mode, the subviews are as follows:
Also, when you work on a robot, various status messages can appear in the bottom left corner in Design Studio. For the meaning of these messages, see Status Bar.
