Communications Manager Designer for Windows installation

Communication Manager Designer for Windows is a client application used to perform certain tasks for Communication Manager Designer, such as create projects and users. You can install the application manually after the Communications Manager installation package is deployed. For each instance, an installer and the detailed information are provided.

  1. Once the Communications Manager instance is deployed, navigate to <deploy root>\CommunicationsManager\Work\<version>\Instance_<num>\designer\Client and locate the Communications Manager Designer for Windows installer named Communications Manager Designer for Windows setup.exe.

  2. Run the installer.
  3. When prompted, enter the installation name, that is, the directory name where Communications Manager Designer for Windows will reside.
    By default, on a 64-bit operating system the client is deployed in C:\Program Files (x86).
  4. Also, provide the necessary settings for server and host. To do so, open the ReadMe file (located in the same directory) and copy the values from this file.
