Enter licenses

  1. Start Communication Manager Designer for Windows.
  2. Log in as administrative account (see Administrative account).
  3. On the menu, click View > License.

    The License information window appears.

  4. For the "Communications Manager Repository base license," "Communications Manager Repository model development license," and "Communications Manager Repository textblock editing license," click Edit.

    The Model Development License and the Text Block Editing License come with a number of users. This is the number of user accounts and simultaneous user sessions that are allowed to develop Master Templates and edit Text Blocks, respectively.

    By default, the maximum storage size is 25 MB for Text Blocks, Master Templates, and other objects stored in the Communications Manager Repository. To learn how to adjust this limit, see the section Configure Tomcat settings in the Tungsten Communications Manager API Guide.

Changing the license in Communications Manager 5.7.0

Starting from Communications Manager 5.7.0, you can no longer change the license in the Communications Manager Designer for Windows. Configuration of the license is done by separate installation and management tools. For additional information, refer to the License topic in the Tungsten Communications Manager Installation Guide.
