Uninstall Communications Manager Control Center

This section describes how you can use RemoveControlCenter.exe to uninstall Communications Manager Control Center.

RemoveControlCenter.exe is a command-line tool intended to remove a stopped Communications Manager Control Center from the server. This tool resides in: <deploy root>\CommunicationsManager\Programs\<version>\Management\Uninstall.

The tool removes all Windows services, installation files and registry entries of Communications Manager Control Center. The other Communications Manager components on this server (if any) will not be affected.

Requirements

Before running the tool, make sure that the following prerequisites are met:

  • Communications Manager Control Center has been stopped, otherwise RemoveControlCenter.exe will not proceed.

  • The account used to run RemoveControlCenter.exe is included in the local Administrators group on the target server.
