Add a condition to a group of Text Blocks

You can make a group of Text Blocks conditional so they only appear when you need them in your document. A group of Text Blocks is also known as a Section.

  1. Navigate to Content > Content Wizards and find the folder with the Content Wizard to edit.
  2. Click the Content Wizard and then click Edit in the View and Edit pane on the right.
The Content Wizard Editor appears in a tab.
  3. On the toolbar, click Add item > Section

    The new Section appears.

Note The selected Section can be added only to a Root, another Section, or a Text Block Selection Group.
  4. Enter a name for a new Section and click Save

The new Section appears in the document structure.

  5. Select Section is not always included.

    A new empty field appears.

  6. Click Add to add a new condition.

    The Condition editor appears.

  7. In the Condition editor, select a Field that relates to the Section in question and click Select. In the empty space to the right from the value drop-down list, enter text associated with the selected Field. For example, if you enter Y, the Text Block will be included in the Content Wizard when this Field is equal to the value Y (for yes). You can apply as many conditions as necessary.
  8. Click Save.
The condition is applied to the section.
  9. Click Save in the right corner of the toolbar.
Inclusion of the group of Text Blocks is now conditional. This group only appears in a document when you need it.
  10. Click Save & Close.
