Test a Document Pack Template

To verify that the Document Pack Template you created is correct, you can review it.

  1. Click the Document Pack Template and then click Test in the Other Actions pane on the right.
  2. Select a status and a Test Data file and then click Test.
    The Test window appears.
  3. Review the documents included in the pack.
    • If the Document Pack Template contains interactive Document Templates, fill in the fields and click Next to proceed. Then click Review to review the result documents. To review a particular slot, click the magnifying glass in the list on the left.
    • If channels have been configured for the Document Pack Template, proceed with Step 4.
    • If no channels have been configured, you can simply review the documents included in the pack.
  4. You can review the document for each channel:
    • To review the document for a particular slot, click the magnifying glass to select the slot and then select a channel to view its content.
    • If the document is an HTML document, click Download to save or open it in a separate browser window.
    • If the document is in a format that cannot be reviewed, such as an Excel document, a notification is shown.
    • If no document is included for a particular channel in this slot, a notification is shown.

      Tip To get information on the available channels, click the question mark.

  5. When you finish testing the Document Pack Template, click Close review pane.
    • If you need to make some changes, click Previous. This action is only available when the Document Pack Template contains interactive Document Templates.
    • To proceed, click Next.
    • To review the documents included in the Document Pack Template in more detail, test their corresponding Document Templates. For information on testing objects, see Test an object.
