Audit Log Entries

Audit logs provide information about the activities performed on Import source, Import Connection, and Message Connector, such as creating, editing, and deleting. The information about the name of the import source, import connection, or Message Connector, activity performed, and user performing the activity is recorded. A log is generated for each activity. However, more than one log may be generated if the activity indirectly impacts other resources.

  • If an import source is edited, two logs are generated, one for import source and other for import connector.

  • When an import connection is modified, two logs are generated, one for import connection and other for Message Connector.

You can view these logs and remove the audit log entries in TotalAgility Workspace.

The logs can be sorted based on the audit log type, such as Import Source - Add, Import Connection - Delete, and Message Connector - Edit. You can also remove all or audit logs of a specific time period.

The following filters/fields are available in the logs list.

Filter/Field Description
From The date and time from when you want to view the logs.
To The date up to which you want to view the logs.
Audit Log Type The type of activity performed on the Message connector, import source, or import connection, such as add, edit, or delete.

Audit Log Type Description
Import Connection - Add Contains information about the connections added.
Import Connection - Edit Contains information about the changes made to a Import connection.
Import Connection - Delete Contains information about the import connection deleted.
Import Source - Add Contains information about the import source added.
Import Source - Edit Contains information about the changes made to a import source.
Import Source - Delete Contains information about the import source deleted.
Message Connector - Add Contains information about the message connector added.
Message Connector - Edit Contains information about the changes made to a message connector.
Message Connector - Delete Contains information about the message connector deleted.

Date The From and To date provided in the filter.
Type The activity type performed in the import settings.
Description Description of the activity.
Resource Name The user who performed the activity.
Category The setting/configuration where the activity was performed. Select Import settings to view the logs related to Import source, Import connection, and Message connector.

Example:

  • If the add or remove activity is performed in Import Settings, the log is categorized under Import Settings.
  • If audit logs are removed, the activity is categorized under Audit log.
Level The type of information logged:
  • Information: The add, edit, and delete activities are logged.
  • Warning: The warning messages are logged.
  • Error: Any errors such as login error is logged.
Source IP Address The IP address of the computer in which the import source is configured.
