Add to knowledge base activity

You can create a knowledge base by uploading multiple documents that will be stored in Azure Search. You can search the documents in the knowledge base using natural language queries alongside Large Language Models (LLMs). You can set default preferences for chunking documents when adding them to the AI Knowledge base. See Chunking settings.

Consider the following use cases:

  1. In a medical solution, deleting outdated or incorrect medical test results from the knowledge base could help ensure that only the most accurate and relevant information is available to medical professionals.

  2. For the shopping site, deleting fulfilled or outdated customer orders from the knowledge base can help maintain the database's accuracy and prevent confusion for customers and the system itself.

  3. In the insurance solution, removing past claims and guidelines that are no longer valid or applicable from the knowledge base can streamline the process for adjusters, ensuring that they are working with the most current and relevant information when processing new claims.
