Manage a custom service group
You can manage custom service groups and view associations for a custom service group on the Custom service groups page.

Create a custom service group
When you create a custom service group, a category with the same name as custom service group is automatically created if the name does not already exist. By default, the custom service group is associated with that category. However, you can change the category when you edit the custom service group.

On the
Custom service groups page, click
New.
The New custom service group dialog box is displayed.

Enter a unique
Name for the custom service group, for example, CG1.
The custom service group name should not exceed 40 characters.

Once you save the custom group, you can create web service references and server variables from within the custom
service group and add them to a category. See
web service references and
server variables for more
information.
By default, a category with the same name as the custom service group is created and the custom service group, web service references, and server variables are associated with this category. You can edit the custom service group to save it to a different category. See the next topic, "Modify a custom service group". You can assign a different category to web service references and server variables. See the relevant topics for more information.

The custom service group is created and available for use within a custom service.
Modify a custom service group
You can modify a custom service group.

On the
Custom service groups page, click the custom service group to modify.
Alternatively, to display a specific custom service group, enter the name of the custom service group in the Search field and click .
The Edit custom service group dialog box is displayed.
- Make changes as needed. For example, modify the name, or add, edit and delete web service references and server variables. You can also save the custom service group to a different category by selecting a different category on the Category list.
- Click Save.
Delete a custom service group
On the Custom service groups page, on the context menu of the custom service group to delete, click Delete.
On confirmation, the selected custom service group is deleted.
You cannot delete a custom service group that is already in use within a custom service.
View custom service group associations
You can view the associations for the current custom service group that will list the custom services that are using this group.
On the Custom service groups page, on the context menu of the custom service group for which to view the associations, click Associations.
The Integration associations - <group name> dialog box displays the custom service names as hyperlinks and the type. You can click the name link to open the custom service in a new browser tab and make changes as needed.
