Left pane - document toolbar
Each document type on the left pane of the Fields menu includes a toolbar with the following settings.

Opens the configured fields for the selected document. All fields currently configured for the selected document type are displayed. |

This setting is enabled by default and displays a list of configured fields and tables for the selected document. If there is more than one document sample, a vertical scroll bar enables you to move from one document sample to another, with that document type. |

Pause extraction / Resume extraction |
Each time you add a new field, all fields are sent for extraction. You can pause extraction by selecting Pause extraction. During this time, you can add multiple fields. However, the new fields are not extracted until you select Resume extraction. If you are using Copilot Auto Extract, we recommend that you pause extraction to reduce AI provider token usage. These settings are disabled for predefined document types. |

Enable table detection / Disable table detection |
When selected, table detection is performed for the selected document. These settings are disabled for predefined document types. |

Expand |
Expands the selected document type to view multiple document types so you can view multiple documents simultaneously. This setting is available only for document sets that are collapsed. |

Collapse |
Collapses the selected document type to minimize a document type so you can focus on other document types. This setting is available only for document sets that are expanded. |
Each document type is displayed in its own collapsible section and the selected document type has a blue bar on the left of the document type header. This enables you to collapse any document types you are not configuring to focus on a single document type. Both training documents and test documents are displayed for a document.
Each document type includes a Fields tab and a Tables tab.
Fields tab
This tab lists the fields configured for extraction for the selected document type.

For configurable document types, this tab is empty until you add fields.
When you add a field, training occurs automatically for the newly added field and all other fields on the document. A colored circle indicates the field extraction confidence: green for high ( >=75%), and orange for low (<75%), and a grey circle indicates that there are no extraction results.

For predefined document types, this field is pre-populated, and you cannot add or remove fields. You can, however, make changes to most of the field settings.
Tables tab
This tab lists any table fields configured for the selected document type.
If a document contains multiple tables, navigation arrows are available to move between the tables.
The current table on the Tables tab is highlighted in green on the document image. The highlighted table in the document image is updated when you navigate between tables.
