Test table detection

Use the procedure in this topic to test table detection. Table detection is available for configurable document types only.

Table extraction values and image highlighting are displayed only when the Tables tab is selected.

Before you begin

Before you test table detection, verify that the following steps are complete:

  • You have at least one configurable document type.

  • You have uploaded several training and test documents.

    Extraction is enabled.

  • Table detection is enabled for at least one configurable document type.

Procedure

  1. Select the Fields menu.
  2. Select a document type.
  3. Select a test document and select the Tables tab.
  4. Select Test.

    A progress icon is displayed until all tables on the test document are detected. The first detected table is called "Table0," and subsequent table names increment the number as needed.

    If multiple tables are detected, use the arrow buttons to navigate between the tables. When you select a different table, the image in the viewer is updated to the page where the selected table is located.

  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for other test documents and configurable document types.
