Lasso bar codes
Use the procedure in this topic to lasso bar codes.
Be aware of the following restrictions on bar code extraction:
-
Bar code fields are not trainable.
-
Bar codes must be included in recognition results to configure for extraction.
-
You cannot configure bar codes for extraction using suggested fields or Copilot auto extract fields. You must add bar codes manually.
-
Only one field for each bar code type is allowed per document type. For example, if your document has two Code 39 bar codes and one QR Code, you can add one field for the Code 39 bar code and another field for the QR Code.
It is not possible to lasso a bar code on a test document or when using a predefined document type.
