General, processing, and export settings

Use the procedure in this topic to configure the general, recognition settings, and export settings for your DocAI solution.

Before you begin

Before you configure the General and Processing settings, we recommend you configure field extraction.

Procedure

  1. From the ribbon, select Settings.
  2. Select the General tab and configure the following settings as needed.

    Solution name

    Modify the solution name, if needed.

    Description

    Enter a useful description about your solution.

    Application icon

    The image that is displayed for this solution on the Tungsten TotalAgility Workspace App List. (Default: Quick Apps.png)

    To upload a new image, do the following:

    1. Select New.

      The Upload images window is displayed.

    2. On the Category list, select the category for the new image.

    3. Select Browse and select the image file to upload. Alternatively, drag the file from your system into the Images field.

    4. If you select a file that already exists, you can overwrite the existing file by selecting Overwrite existing files.

    5. Select Save to upload the image.

    6. Once the file is uploaded, select Finish.

    The uploaded image is saved to the database and appears next to the title of this solution when it is displayed in the Tungsten TotalAgility Workspace App List.

    Category

    Select a category for your solution. (Default: Default Category)

  3. Select the Processing tab and configure the following settings.

    Language of documents

    Select the language so that documents are recognized by the system with the best settings for that language. (Default: English)

    This setting is available only when the Recognition provider is set to OmniPage. The language of a document is detected automatically when using either the Tungsten Clarity or Azure AI Document Intelligence Service recognition providers.

    Recognition provider

    Select the recognition engine from one of the following:

    • OmniPage (Default)

    • Clarity

    • Azure AI Document Intelligence Service

    Clarity and Azure AI Document Intelligence Service are available only if the corresponding recognition engine is configured in the TotalAgility Designer under Integration > Recognition providers. For more information about configuring recognition engines, see the Tungsten TotalAgility Designer Help.

  4. Select the Export tab and configure the following setting.

    Export data format

    These settings are used by the export user operation.

    Select one of the following export data formats:

    • CSV file with extracted fields (Default)

      Generates a CSV file that contains field data for each document type.

    • JSON with extracted fields and raw OCR results

      Generates a JSON file that contains data for each document type, including extracted field data as well as the raw OCR results for each document type.

      When this value is selected, the following setting is available:

      JSON output type

      The JSON output is either a single merged file that contains all documents or a separate file for each document. Select one of the following:

      • Merged file containing all documents

      • Separate file for each document

  5. Save your solution.
