Configure documents

 After creating a new solution, the Documents page is displayed automatically. Here you can add and manage document types for your solution. Select a document type header to collapse or expand that document type.

The toolbar above the document types includes the following settings.

Icon	Setting	Description
	New Document Type	Opens the New Document Type window, where you can add document types.
	Delete Document Type	Deletes the selected document type. Available only when there are two or more document types in a solution. Each solution must have at least one document type.
	Train	Trans all document types. This setting is disabled until you add documents to at least one of your document types. This setting is highlighted in red when training is mandatory before proceeding with your solution design.

New Document Type

Opens the New Document Type window, where you can add document types.

Delete Document Type

Deletes the selected document type.

Available only when there are two or more document types in a solution. Each solution must have at least one document type.



Train

Trans all document types.

This setting is disabled until you add documents to at least one of your document types. This setting is highlighted in red when training is mandatory before proceeding with your solution design.

Each document type is separated into training documents and test documents and each document type has its own toolbar that remains visible, even when the document type is collapsed. The toolbar has the following settings.

Icon	Setting	Description
 / 	Document type icon	Configure a document type or select a predefined document type. The document type icon indicates if the document type is configurable or predefined.
N/A	Document type name	Select the document type to rename or delete it.
N/A	Default	Use the toggle button to set the default document type. When adding multiple document types, ensure that you set one of the document types as the default document type. The default document type is used when the system is unable to identify a document. Only one document type can be the default.
N/A	Training circle	The training circle indicates how well your classification training documents aid in document classification.

Under the document type header, a secondary header for training documents and test documents is displayed with the following settings.

Icon	Setting	Description
 / 	Training Documents / Test Documents	Indicates the type of sample document.
	Upload training documents / Upload test documents	Opens a File Explorer window to upload training or test documents to the respective document group. For more information, see Sample documents.
 #	Number of documents in this document type	View the number of training and test documents in a document type. This is for information only.
