Lasso fields

In certain scenarios, the Suggested fields and Copilot Auto Extract methods may not work for a specific piece of information on a document. For example, the Suggested fields method does not work for a piece of text with no label, and the Copilot Auto Extract method cannot consistently find this data because it varies so much between documents.

In such cases, you can lasso a field on a training document, where you can specify a name and other settings for the field. It is not possible to lasso fields when using a predefined document type, because all extraction fields are already configured.
