Save your solution

Use the procedure in this topic to save your solution. A solution with unsaved modifications has an asterisk (*) beside the version number in the header.

Each time you save your solution, the minor number in the version number is incremented by one. For example, V0.05 indicates that a solution has been saved 5 times.

Before you begin

Before you save your solution, verify that none of the menus on the ribbon have a red circle above their icon. A red icon indicates incomplete configuration.

The best practice for editing any item is to save as you go. As a result, we recommend that you save your solution after completing the configuration on each ribbon menu.

Procedure

  1. Make changes to your solution as needed.
  2. If there are no red indicators on the ribbon, select Save on the ribbon.

    The minor version number is updated and the asterisk is removed from the version number.
