Enable table detection
Use the procedure in this topic to enable table detection. Table detection is available for configurable document types only.
By default, no tables are extracted on a configurable document. Once table detection is enabled, any tables found on a document are available. During production, all extracted tables are included in the extraction results.
Before you begin
Before you enable table detection, verify that the following steps are complete.

Add at least one configurable document type.

Enable field extraction.
Procedure
- Select the Fields menu.
- Select a configurable document type.

Set
Enable Table Detection to
Yes. (Default: No)
Detected table data is displayed on the Tables tab for the selected configurable document type.
- Repeat steps for 2 to 3 for other configurable document types.
